Install Hades on your computer

Hades is an app that stays open during the call. Download it from the dashboard, install it and sign in with the same account.

Updated on

Hades has two parts: the dashboard (this site, where your calls, the analysis and your account live) and the desktop app, which stays open during the call listening and coaching you live. You need both. The app runs on Windows 10 or 11.

Download and install

  1. Sign in to the dashboard at hades with your email and password. Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, click Forgot my password: the email with the link to create a new one arrives in a few minutes (check spam too).
  2. Click your photo (or initials) at the bottom of the left menu and then Download Hades (Windows). The download starts on its own and the file, Hades-Setup.exe, is around 125 MB. While the Start here box is showing on the Today screen, its Install the desktop app step has a Download the app button that does the same download.
  3. Open the file you just downloaded (it lands in your Downloads folder) and go through the installer. There is nothing to choose: click next until it finishes.
  4. Hades opens by itself when it's done. If it doesn't, search for Hades in the Windows Start menu.
  5. On the screen that comes up, sign in with the same email and the same password you use on the dashboard. If you forgot the password, the Forgot my password link is right under the password field: it opens the recovery page in your browser, with your email already filled in. You pick the new password there, not in the app.

Windows said the file is dangerous

That's normal and it isn't a virus. The warning shows up because Hades is a new app and Windows doesn't recognize the name yet — it happens with any recently released installer.

  1. On the blue window that says Windows protected your PC, click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

I'm on a Mac

For now Hades only listens to the meeting on Windows. The Mac app is still in development, and there is no other way to use Hades during a meeting on a Mac. If you're on a Mac, tell us on the chat below and we'll let you know as soon as it ships.

Change the app's language

At the top of the app's home screen, in the right corner, there are two flags: Brazil and the United States. Click the one for the language you want. The choice is saved and applies the next time you open the app. The flags show up before you sign in too, so you can switch right on the sign-in screen.

Hades updates itself

You never have to download it again. Every time you open Hades it checks for a new version and installs it before showing you anything — that's why it sometimes takes a few extra seconds to open and shows a progress bar. If it takes more than two minutes, see Hades won't open, or freezes while opening.
