Logging the outcome (won, lost, follow-up) and why it changes your next call

One click at the end of the call: Won, Lost, Moved forward, Follow-up or No decision. Without it Hades can't learn what works with your clients.

Updated on

The outcome is one click at the end of the call, and it's the one thing Hades can't work out on its own: whether that meeting turned into a sale. With it, Hades compares what happened in the meetings you won against the ones you lost and carries that into your next call. Without it, every meeting starts from zero.

The five options

  • Won — the client bought (or paid the deposit) on the call or right after it.
  • Lost — the client said no, or went dark for good.
  • Moved forward — the meeting went well and there's a next step agreed, but it isn't a sale yet.
  • Follow-up — it's on you to get back to them. Follow-up isn't an ending: after a week Hades asks again whether it closed.
  • No decision — the meeting ended with nothing settled.

In the app, as soon as the call ends

  1. When Analysis ready shows up, look at the How did it end? block on the card. One option comes pre-selected with · suggested — that's the AI's guess.
  2. Click the right one. The click alone saves it; there's no confirm button.
  3. If you picked Won or Lost, two optional fields appear: What decided it? (optional) and Amount (optional). Fill them in if you know — they're worth more for the learning — or leave them blank.
  4. No time right now? Click Not now. The meeting comes back to ask you later (see below).

I forgot to answer: the Meetings waiting for an outcome block

Every time the app opens, the home screen lists the meetings from the last 30 days that still have no outcome, with the question How did it end? and the same five buttons. A meeting marked Follow-up or Moved forward more than a week ago comes back with a different question: So — did it close?. The block disappears on its own when there's nothing left to answer. It never blocks a call — it's a reminder. On the dashboard, the Today screen also flags meetings that have no outcome.

On the dashboard, at any time

  1. On the dashboard, click Calls in the left menu, then the Meetings tab, and open the meeting. It opens on the Client and outcome tab while the outcome is missing.
  2. In the How did it end? block, click the right option. If you want, fill in Reason and Potential amount.
  3. Click Save outcome.

You can correct it as many times as you need, in the same place. Clicked the wrong one in the app? Fix it here. The Meetings list shows a yellow notice with how many are still missing an outcome.

What else changes when you log it

If the meeting is linked to a client, the outcome also moves their deal on the Deals board: Won takes it to Won, Follow-up to Follow-up, Moved forward to In conversation. Hades never moves a deal to Lost on its own, and it doesn't touch a deal you moved yourself. See the meeting moves the deal for you.

What Hades does with it

Every outcome you log recalculates your company's sales memory (it comes with Oracle and up). It looks for patterns that hold up in numbers — an objection that shows up across several meetings and sinks most of them, say, or a discovery item that closes more often when it's covered. A lesson is only born from 4 decided meetings (Won or Lost) with the same objection, and rate comparisons need 5 decided meetings. That's why the first few weeks look like nothing is happening: the memory is waiting for volume, it isn't broken.

The lessons that hold up go into what Hades reads during your next call — up to five, the strongest ones — and change what it tells you to ask and what it sees coming. You can see exactly what it's reading on the dashboard, under Results, in the Intelligence tab, in the Memory section, under What the copilot already carries into the meeting. If a lesson doesn't fit your business, click Mute on it and Hades stops using it. More in the sales memory.
