The alert bell: what Hades tells you and how to choose

The bell sits at the top of the dashboard and keeps Hades's alerts: a meeting with no outcome, a finished analysis, an overdue task, a client who replied, plan hours and more. You choose what you get under Choose what I receive.

The bell keeps the alerts Hades sends you: a meeting left without an outcome, an analysis that finished, an overdue task, a client who replied, a payment that failed. Every plan has the bell. Each person has their own, and it shows the alerts for the account you're using right now.

Where it is and how to use it

  1. On a computer, the bell sits at the top of the left menu, next to the theme button (sun and moon). On a phone, it's in the top bar. When there are alerts you haven't opened, a number shows on top of it (it reads 9+ if there are more than nine).
  2. Click the bell. A list opens with the most recent alerts (up to 30), the newest on top. Each one shows the title, a line of explanation and how long ago it arrived (just now, 5 min ago, 2 h ago, 3 days ago; past 7 days, the date).
  3. Alerts you haven't opened have a blue dot and a bold title. Click one: it's marked as read and Hades opens the screen it's about (the meeting, the calendar, the plan).
  4. To clear everything at once, click Mark all as read at the top of the list. To close, click the X or press Esc.

Choosing what you receive

  1. Open the bell and click Choose what I receive, in the footer of the list. (Another way: click your photo at the bottom of the menu, choose Profile, and in the Notifications section click Choose what I receive.)
  2. The Notifications screen shows the alerts in three groups: THE MEETING, FOLLOW-UP AND DEALS and ACCOUNT AND PLAN. Each row has a switch.
  3. Click the switch to turn the alert on or off. It takes effect right away and stays saved.
  • Turning one off applies to the bell and the phone together. An alert that's off isn't kept in the bell or sent to the phone. If you turn it back on later, only new alerts show up.
  • Four alerts come turned off by default (the rest come on): Deal idle for 7 days, New lesson in the memory, Payment confirmed and New lead came in. With a busy account, the first and the last would become dozens a day. Turn on what makes sense for you.
  • Two can't be turned off: Plan hours ran out and Payment failed. They read Always on, because without them your next call can be refused in front of the client or the account can be suspended without anyone knowing.
  • Alerts about money, the account and the company only show up for the owner. Reps and managers don't see those rows (and the owner sees 27 alerts; everyone else, 19).

Which alerts exist and who gets them

THE MEETING

  • Meeting with no outcome — whoever ran the meeting. Without the outcome, Hades can't work out why you win and lose. (How to log it.)
  • Post-call analysis ready — whoever ran the meeting, when the analysis finishes. (Where to see it.)
  • Objection outside your DNA — the owner only: the client raised an objection your Business DNA doesn't have yet.
  • New meeting on the calendar and Meeting in 15 minutes — whoever connected Google Calendar. (How to connect.)

FOLLOW-UP AND DEALS

  • Cadence waiting for approval — whoever built the cadence. Until you approve it, none of its tasks go on your agenda.
  • Your tasks for today — one notification a day, after 8 a.m., with the count (never one per task). It goes to whoever built the already-approved follow-up cadence.
  • Overdue task — one per task, once.
  • Client replied — whoever confirmed automatic follow-up sending: Hades stopped the cadence because the client replied. Only for WhatsApp with the number connected; Hades can't see email or phone calls.
  • Deal won — whoever created the deal, the owner and the managers.
  • Expected close date coming up — whoever created the deal and the owner, when the expected date is today or tomorrow.
  • Deal idle for 7 days and New lesson in the memory — come turned off.
  • Sales milestones — the owner only, when a recent sale takes the account to its first sale, its tenth, or R$ 10,000, R$ 50,000 or R$ 100,000 closed.
  • Message from your leader — the message the owner or a manager sent you from the team alerts area (each rep gets at most 3 a day).

ACCOUNT AND PLAN

  • Plan hours ran out (always on) and Hours past 80% — the second goes to the owner, once a month. (How plan hours work.)
  • Payment failed (always on) and Payment confirmed (comes off) — they go to the owner.
  • WhatsApp disconnected — to whoever can reconnect: the number's owner, if it's your personal WhatsApp, or the owner and managers, if it's the company number. A rep never gets one for a number that isn't theirs.
  • New lead came in — comes off; goes to the owner and the managers.
  • Only the owner gets: Recordings about to be removed by the quota, Seat accepted, Your system stopped receiving notifications (only for those who turned on a webhook in Integrations; at most one a day), Launch bonus, Referral subscribed and Feedback request (a single request, after the third sale or a sales milestone).

On your phone, and quiet hours

If you use the Hades phone app and left notifications allowed, the same alert also arrives as a notification on the device. It's the same choice as in the dashboard: turned off here, turned off there.

  • Quiet hours: the phone doesn't buzz from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. (Brasília time). In that window the alert still lands in the bell; only the phone stays quiet.
  • Only the two that can't be turned off break through the quiet: Plan hours ran out and Payment failed.
  • There's no field to change the quiet hours, in the dashboard or in the app.

If it didn't work

  • I didn't get an alert. Open Choose what I receive and check that its switch is on. Some come off, and the owner-only ones don't show for managers and reps.
  • The alert doesn't show in the bell of my other company. The bell shows only the account that's open. Switch accounts and look again.
  • The list says “I couldn't load the notifications right now.” — click Try again.
  • The preferences screen says “I couldn't read your preferences right now.” — reload the page. Hades won't show the switches without knowing how they're set, so you don't think something is on when it isn't.
  • It reached the bell but not the phone. It may be the quiet hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.), the device's notification permission, or the app not being signed in with your account. The bell always keeps it.
  • New meeting on the calendar and Meeting in 15 minutes don't arrive. Check that Google Calendar is connected, under Calls, on the Schedule tab.
