Billing, receipts and changing plans
A monthly subscription paid by card through Stripe. Invoices and receipts land in the email on the account. To change plans: cancel the current one and subscribe to the new one.
Updated on
The subscription is monthly and the payment runs through Stripe, by card. No card details ever touch Hades. All of it lives on the Plans screen, which you open by clicking your photo (or initials) at the bottom of the left menu — only the account owner or a manager can subscribe, cancel or buy. What each plan has and what it costs is in plans: what each one has.
Subscribe to a plan
- On the dashboard, click your photo (or initials) at the bottom of the left menu and pick Plans.
- In the plan grid, click Subscribe on the one you want.
- You land on Stripe's checkout page. If you're on Demigod with a team, you'll see one line for the plan and one line per seat, so the total is the whole thing before you pay.
- Fill in your card and your email — that's where the invoice goes — and pay.
- You come straight back to the dashboard.
The guarantee
Under the plan grid is the guarantee, written into the Terms of Use: in the first 7 days you can walk away, no questions asked; up to day 30, if you actually used it (real calls with the copilot running and your Business DNA filled in) and it didn't move anything in how you sell, you get 100% of what you paid back. To ask for it, message us on the chat below from the email on the account.
How long the plan is valid for
Every confirmed payment unlocks the plan for one month from the invoice date, plus 2 days of slack. The exact date is on the card at the top of the Plans screen. Those 2 days are there so an expired card or a payment that settles the next morning doesn't drop the copilot in the middle of a meeting.
- Payment past due (amber tag) — the charge came due and wasn't paid. The Plans screen shows a countdown with the time left and a link to the invoice. During that window the whole account is capped at 2 hours of meetings; pay and everything is back immediately.
- Expired (red tag) — the slack ran out. The account drops to the free plan until a payment comes in. Your meetings, your DNA and your memory are kept; nothing is deleted.
- Refund or chargeback — access drops immediately, because the money went back.
See your invoices and receipts
- On Plans, click Manage subscription on the card at the top. The page scrolls down to Your subscription.
- Click Manage billing on Stripe. That's where your card, every invoice and the receipts live — Stripe also emails each one to the address on the account.
- Need a company name, a tax ID or an address on the invoice? Add them in that portal before your next payment, or tell us on the chat below.
Hades doesn't issue a separate tax document: the Stripe invoice is the receipt. If your accounting needs something else on it, say so on the chat below before the next charge — after it's issued, changing an invoice is Stripe's process, not a click.
Change plans
There's no "switch" button: the way through is to cancel the current subscription and subscribe to the new plan. If you click Subscribe while one is active, the screen says Cancel the current one before switching plans. Switching inside Stripe's portal is deliberately turned off — a plan changed over there wouldn't come back to us, and your account would keep the old plan.
- On Plans, click Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription and Cancel anyway (see the step before cancelling, below). That only stops the next charges — you keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
- In the plan grid, click Subscribe on the new plan and pay.
- The new plan takes effect as soon as the payment goes through.
Cancel for good
- On Plans, click Manage subscription and then Cancel subscription.
- Before you cancel shows up: a counter of what Hades has tracked on your account (Calls with Hades, Live answers suggested and Closed with those clients) and three ways out — Pause for 30 days (opens the chat with our team to arrange the pause), Smaller plan (takes you to the plan grid) and Talk to someone (opens the chat).
- If you still want to cancel, click Cancel anyway.
Cancelling stops the next charges: you keep the plan until the date you've already paid for and then drop to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: meetings, DNA and memory stay on the account, and subscribing again turns everything back on.
Wrong charge, or charged twice
Open the chat below with the email on the account and the date of the charge. A double charge is refunded through Stripe and your access isn't affected.
