Adding someone from my team

Team seats are a Demigod thing. The owner or a manager invites from Team; on a USD account the seat is added right away and the difference lands on your next invoice.

Updated on

A team is a Demigod thing: every rep gets their own login and their own call hours, and you see everyone's calls. On Initiate and Oracle the account is one person — if you try to invite someone, the screen says so and sends you to Plans. The person who invites is the owner or a manager. What each plan has is in plans: what each one has.

Send the invite

  1. On the dashboard, click your photo (or initials) at the bottom of the left menu and pick Team. At the top you'll see X of 10 seats.
  2. Click Invite a rep.
  3. Fill in the person's name and email (that's where they get access).
  4. Pick the role: Rep (uses the app, sees their own meetings, reads the DNA without editing it) or Manager (all of that, plus editing the DNA and managing the team and the plan).
  5. Click Invite.

What happens after you click

It depends on whether your account has a paid subscription:

  • USD account with an active subscription: the seat is added right away and the invited person gets the email immediately. Hades updates your Stripe subscription for you: the cost of the new seat for the days left in the cycle is added to your next invoice, and from then on the monthly price already includes the seat. If Hades can't update the subscription, a notice on the screen says so — the seat stays, and you message us on the chat below so we fix the billing.
  • Courtesy or beta account (no subscription): access is created right away and the email goes out immediately.

What the invited person does

  1. Opens the email from Hades and clicks the link. It takes them to a page asking them to create a password.
  2. Sets the password and signs in. They land inside your company — they see the DNA, their own meetings and the app.
  3. Installs Hades on their computer (click your photo or initials at the bottom of the left menu, then Download Hades (Windows)) and signs in to the app with that same email and password. If they forget the password later, the Forgot my password link is on the sign-in screen.

If the person already had a Hades account (they tried it on their own before, say), no email goes out: they simply start seeing your company when they sign in with the login they already have.

  • Check the spam folder, and check the email address on the Team screen is right.
  • If the link says This invite link has expired or has already been used, remove the person and invite again.
  • Still nothing? Tell us on the chat below and we'll resend it.

Upgrading, removing and the seat limit

  • Upgrade to Oracle — only the account owner, next to the rep on the Team screen. The seat gets Oracle's hours and features right away, and the difference for the days left in the month lands on your next invoice. Back to the base seat takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and the next invoice is already at the base price.
  • Remove — takes the person out of the team right away. The meetings they ran stay in the company's history.
  • You've run out of the 10 seats — for a bigger team there's Titan, arranged directly. Message us on the chat below.

What else the Team screen controls

  • Recording required — a box next to each rep (owner and managers only; it shows on plans that store recordings). Ticked, their meetings are recorded and sent to Hades without them choosing. See recording the meeting.
  • Sees the team's WhatsApp — a box next to each rep (owner and managers only, when Conversations is on). Ticked, they see the conversations on the company's number in Conversations, not only the ones on their own.
  • Meetings — the link next to each name opens the list with only that person's meetings.
  • Team practice and Team messages — two buttons at the top of the screen (owner and managers only). See team practice and the leader's messages.
