Referring Hades and earning hours

When someone subscribes through your referral link, your account gets 10 meeting hours. Leaving a testimonial earns 1 hour. Both last 30 days. Where to get the link and where to see the hours.

Updated on

There are two ways to earn free meeting hours: referring Hades to someone who subscribes (10 hours) and leaving a testimonial (1 hour). The hours go to the account, add to the plan's hours and last 30 days.

Referring Hades

  1. On the dashboard, click your photo (or your initials) at the bottom of the left menu and choose Profile.
  2. In the Refer Hades box, click Copy link. The button changes to Copied.
  3. Send the link to anyone who might be interested (the link ends in /i/ followed by your account's code).
  4. When that person opens the link and subscribes to Hades, your account gets 10 call hours, valid for 30 days.

How the 10 hours arrive

  • The link takes the person to the Hades page and keeps who referred them in their browser for 30 days. If they subscribe in that same browser, within those 30 days, the code goes along with the purchase.
  • The hours come in at the referred account's first payment, not when they just open the link or create the account. Each referred account gives the hours only once, even if the charge notice is delivered more than once.
  • Referring yourself doesn't count. An account subscribing through its own link doesn't earn hours.
  • The hours go to the referrer's account, not to one person: people on the team use them too. They last 30 days, counted from the day they come in, and stay separate from the 5 hours of the launch bonus.

Leaving a testimonial (1 hour)

  1. In Profile, in the Hades with you box, click Rate Hades.
  2. On the Rate Hades page, pick a score from 0 to 10 for the question "how likely are you to recommend Hades to someone who sells like you?".
  3. With a 9 or 10, the screen asks: "Tell us in a few lines what changed in your sales". Write a text with at least one sentence (20 characters or more).
  4. If you want, check I allow Hades to publish this testimonial on its website, with my name and my company's name. Left unchecked, the text is kept and is not published.
  5. Click Send. The screen answers Thank you! Your account got 1 extra call hour, valid for 30 days.
  • A score of 0 to 8: the screen asks What was missing for a 10? and says the team reads every answer. That score does not earn the hour.
  • The hour is one per account. If someone else on your account already got it, you see The testimonial hour was already added to this account.
  • Changed your mind about the score? Click Change next to Your score and pick another.

Where to see the hours

Open Plans and look at the This month's usage card: the limit (of X h) already adds the gift hours that are still inside their 30 days. When they expire, the limit goes back to normal. To understand how the month's hours are spent, see How my plan's hours work.

If it didn't work

  • I don't see the Refer Hades box. It only shows when your account already has a referral link. Message us in the help chat.
  • I referred someone and the hours didn't arrive. The code goes with the purchase only if the person opened your link and subscribed in the same browser, within 30 days, and it only counts from their first payment. Someone who opens the link on a phone and pays on a computer doesn't carry the code. Tell us in the chat the name of the company you referred.
  • The screen said it couldn't add the testimonial hour. The testimonial was saved; click Send again in a little while and the hour comes in (it doesn't come in twice).
  • "Write at least one sentence about what changed in your sales" showed up. The text of a 9 or 10 score was too short: complete it and send again.
