Profile: name, photo, language and light or dark theme
Everything the Profile screen keeps (photo, name, email summary, WhatsApp signature), how the language of the dashboard and of the app is decided, and how to switch between dark, light and automatic themes.
Updated on
Profile is where your details and preferences live. To open it: on the dashboard, click your photo (or your initials) at the bottom of the left menu and choose Profile. Almost everything there is yours alone; the exception is the account name, which belongs to the company.
What's in each box
- Hades with you — your value counter (further down) and the Rate Hades link.
- Refer Hades — your account's referral link, with a Copy link button. It only shows if the account already has a link. See Referring Hades and earning hours.
- Photo — pick a JPEG, PNG or WEBP image up to 5 MB and click Send. With no photo, the dashboard shows your initials.
- Name — type it in Your name and click Save. The screen confirms with Name saved.
- Summary by email — check the box to get the summary of each meeting by email, right after it ends, and click Save.
- WhatsApp signature — see the section below.
- Appearance — the dark, light or automatic theme (section below).
- Notifications — the Choose what I receive link opens the screen where you turn each bell and phone notification on or off. See The notification bell.
- Email, Password and Account — the sign-in email and password are in Signing in to Hades and recovering your password. Account shows the Company and the Account name; only the owner or a manager can change that name, and everyone else just reads it.
Language: where it comes from
Profile has no language picker. On the dashboard the language follows this path: before you sign in, the address decides (the Brazilian address is in Portuguese, the international one is in English); after you sign in, your account's language applies, even if you opened the address of the other language. Need the account's language changed? Tell us in the help chat.
In the computer app you pick the screen language on the spot. The first time the app opens, it uses Windows' language; once you sign in, it follows the account's language, unless you've clicked a flag: then your choice wins.
- Open the app. In the header of the first screen (the setup one, which also has the sign-in) there are two flags: Português (Brasil) and English (United States).
- Click the flag of the language you want. The app's screen switches to it.
- Your choice is saved and applies the next times the app opens. To go back to following the account, click the flag of the account's language.
Dark, light or automatic theme
- In Profile, go to the Appearance box.
- Choose Dark, Light or Automatic. Automatic follows your computer's or phone's theme.
- Done: the screen changes right away. If you choose nothing, the dashboard is dark.
The choice applies only on the device and browser where you made it: it doesn't travel with the account. If you open the dashboard on another computer, pick the theme again there. The Sign in screen stays dark in both themes, on purpose.
WhatsApp signature
When you reply from Conversations, Hades can put your name in bold at the top of the message, so the customer knows who at the company is talking. In WhatsApp signature, leave the option to put your name checked (it starts checked) or uncheck it. The Name shown field takes up to 40 characters; left empty, it uses your Profile name. Click Save and the screen confirms with Signature saved.
The signature applies to the company number. Your personal WhatsApp never signs. To learn what Conversations are, see Using WhatsApp Conversations.
The value counter
In the Hades with you box the dashboard shows three numbers, since you started: Live answers suggested (every card Hades gave during your calls), Calls with Hades and Closed with those clients. The last one is the sum, in Brazilian reais, of the deals won with clients who had a call with you, with Hades on, before the sale, along with how many sales that was and how many were without an amount.
- You haven't had a call with Hades on yet. The counter starts with the first one. That's normal for someone who just arrived.
- Couldn't read the counter right now. Try again in a moment. The reading failed; it isn't zero. Reload the page.
- A sale without an amount. If the won deal has no amount filled in, it counts as a sale but adds no money. Fill in the amount on the deal and the number corrects itself.
- The sentence doesn't say Hades closed the sale. It only tells where Hades was: in the calls that came before each sale.
If it didn't work
- The photo won't upload. It has to be JPEG, PNG or WEBP and up to 5 MB; another type or size comes back with a red notice.
- I can't find the WhatsApp signature box. Message us in the help chat, saying which account you use.
- The theme went back to dark by itself. The choice lives in the browser; if you cleared the browser's data or signed in on another device, choose again.
- The dashboard is in the wrong language. After you sign in, the account's language applies, not the address. Tell us in the help chat if it needs to change.
